Welcome to the new modSTORAGE.
If you’ve visited your self-storage facility recently, you may have noticed we’ve made several improvements around the building including changing our name.
Welcome to the new modSTORAGE! Firstly though, let’s be very clear: ownership hasn’t changed! We are still the same owner/operator, but we are determined to make your self-storage experience the best it can be, and we believe that warrants changing to a more modern name.
New Website: besides the new, streamlined design, we have made adding new units incredibly easy with a simplified, one-page reservation form.

modBOX: a secure and convenient mail and package delivery solution. We now offer 1’ x 1’ individual mailboxes for rent at our 29th Street – Long Island City. You may have heard the jingle over our loudspeakers – no more porch pirates stealing your packages! Rent today.
modFLEX: Build-to-Suit Flex Space Program offers customizable workspaces ranging from 100 to 2,000 sq. ft with up to 14’ ceiling heights. Designed for small businesses, artisans, and professionals seeking adaptable spaces and bespoke warehousing options, our program provides tailored solutions with the convenience of modern infrastructure. Each space can be configured with options for water access (including a mop sink), electric sub metering, and the ultimate flexibility in terms of walls, shelving, and lighting layouts. modCAFÉ – Now open to the public at LIC: delicious coffee, better cold drinks and a wide array of packaged food options for you to enjoy while you are visiting the facility.
modDISPOSAL: We can take trash that you don’t want to take with you (minimum fees apply). Our hand sanitizer stations are located throughout every facility.
modLOGISTICS: large-scale box and pallet receiving, storing, breakdown/depalletizing, sorting and redelivery for businesses needing a satellite location, offering wholesaling, or needing help fulfilling online orders.
We’re also planning to offer on-demand storage, so you won’t even have to travel to the facility!
